The Australian Film Walk of Fame honours members of the Australian Film Industry for the skill, expertise and dedication to their craft, which has contributed to the vitality, and uniqueness of Australian Film, by the placing of plaques in the footpath outside the iconic Ritz Cinema, Randwick.

The Australian Film Walk of Fame will take place on Sunday 11 March outside the Ritz Cinema, Randwick as a part of the Spot Festival. The festivities follow on through to the AFF Australian Short Film Festival at 7pm. This event celebrates the life in film of our greatest filmmakers, who will be present to accept their awards from the mayor of Randwick City Council.

Past recipients have included Gary Sweet, Jack Thompson, Claudia Karvan, Steve Bisley, Michael Caton, Roy Billing and the late, great Charles ‘Bud’ Tingwell and Reginald Baker. The Australian Film Walk of Fame is a collaboration between Australian Film Festival and Randwick City Council.
