Wednesday 13 March - Short Film 'Cropped', Feature Film 'LBF' & Q&A with Ed Gibbs and LBF Director Alex Munt

Saturday March 10 - Cinema By The Sea - screening Red Dog, and featuring Six Degrees Jazz

Thursday March 8 - Film Distribution Discussion Panel

Tonight the Randwick campus of Sydney Institute of TAFE hosted an in-depth discussion panel on how distribution and exhibition works in Australia and posed the question 'Why do you need a distributor and what do they actually do?'
Distributors and exhibitors conducted a frank discussion on the rise and falls in the distribution landscape of Australia. Moderated by John L. Simpson (Founder, Titan View) with panelists Nick Hayes (National Operations Manager, Dendy) and Megan Simpson Huberman (Director, Development & Production, Screen NSW), this panel was a fantastic evening and assisted many budding (and exstablished) filmmakers in their distribution decision making process.

Many thanks to the Sydney Institute of TAFE for being wonderful and intelligent hosts - we couldn't do it without you! ~2012 AFF
